Golden savory biscuits.

Golden savory biscuits.

I’m so happy about this post, I wish to put this recipe that comes from mum’s scraps on blog since I’ve closed the old one but every time I make them I can’t fix them in a photo.

They ended before the photo or I simply didn’t have time, the day was too dark to shoot or pictures were too awful to be posted.

This time here we are, this time I can post the recipe of these biscuits instead of sending it via email, on slips of papers, Facebook chats.

It’s three years in a row I’m bringing them to school Christmas and summer parties and they are a must among friends and relatives.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven at 356°F.
  2. Dissolve yeast into water (I use minipimer)
  3. Put flour, butter, salt in a bowl, mix and add water with yeast.
  4. Mix and add turmeric, chili and crushed almonds.
  5. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Shape the dough in long rolls and cut small biscuits.
  7. Place them on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes then let them rest in oven for 5 more minutes.
Recipe Notes

You can store them in a tin box for 5-6 days.

Zucchini bites.

I feel Autumn here in Bologna: air is fizzy, leaves are changing colours and I can finally live instead of surviving the hot weaher.

The post holidays  thrill is still here even if things never go as you plan them: more work than we expected ( and this is good!), a sad news that let us reconsider what is important in life, kindergarten is starting really slow giving my boy half day off for more than a week and he’s not really happy about it because he wants to stay with his friends!

Soon I’ll bring on these pages a sweet sweet collaboration made of books and honey and a wonderful themed recipe .

Now that is no more a crime turning on the oven I enjoy the last zucchini of the season.

We ate them in every possible way and this is only the last one we tried.

They may seem like muffins but the mix is more crumbled and dry because of breadcrumbs.

This recipes serves 24 mini muffins.

Recipe Notes

Don't use regoular size muffins tin: they are too big and the inside of your bites will remain soggy and raw.

Carbonara breadsticks.
Summer is not the best moment to cook for me: no desire, too hot weather, the need to empty pantry and deep freezer in view of holidays.

This demanding blog restyling, anyway, requires a very focused Claudia to keep a good publishing cadence to give you all the best from the Mora Romagnola!

This is why I’m here tonight too, with a recipe I did few months ago, modified along the way after I found the recipe on a huge database of a Facebook group dedicated to sourdough ( it’s in Italian only unfortunately).
