Gnudi toscani, Tuscan ricotta cheese and spinach dumplings.

Gnudi toscani, Tuscan ricotta cheese and spinach dumplings.

Back again with a recipe, as I told you I have some many new recipes to post I have the problem to decide what comes first.

But why should I decide and not you?

So I throw a survey on my Facebook page, I did it on saturday and so many joined.

It was a simply photo, I just asked to comment with a number:

All the recipes had their own fans but the number four won everything: they are “gnudi” vegetarian dumplings from Tuscany made of spinach and ricotta cheese.

Cuttlefish and peas with tomato sauce.

After many months the Bloggalline recipe exchange is back, as usual I have to say it’s an exchange made between Italian bloggers so you may not be interested into blogs writen in Italian but as usual I share with you the recipe I’ve chosen from my paired fellow blogger.

This month I’m paired with Chiara, she comes from Trentino but she is now based in Romagna so we share a lot and we also met in the past during a foodphotography class.

She has a lot of recipes from Austria/ Germany and Trentino on her blog, recipes I usually love a lot so I was almost sure about choosing one of them but then I saw the recipe of cuttlefish and peas in tomato sauce and I changed my mind in a flash.

Devil’s food cake, the perfect chocolate cake.

I’m on a diet and I keep posting dessert.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence.

Truth is I had the chance to make a couple of nice cakes because some weeks ago it was my birthday and I celebrated it with the family.

I also had the possibility to take nice (but not perfect) pics of some other recipes you’ll see soon on blog; I have material to work on, WOOT WOOT!!

I post this great recipe now because I wanted to write something about Halloween parties and recipes: it’s that time of the year and I love Halloween so much!!

Recipes & ideas for your Halloween party.

Halloween is knocking on the door once again, time is near, are you ready?

This is one of my favourite feasts, through the years I’ve posted a lot of “scary recipes“: maybe you remember some, using the search button you could find them but thinking to the lazy ones (as I am the laziest one) I’ ve decided to make a brand new post with them plus some nice ideas for your party I’ve found surfing Pinterest.

In Italy this festivity, I mean the way people in the U.S.A. celebrate it, is quite new: only in the last ten years we started finding decorations, costumes in the shops and in the last years restaurants, discos and pubs started themed nights.

Of course people at home started to throw themed parties too and I’m the queen of the Halloween themed food because I LOVE HALLOWEEN.

Few weeks ago my father in law came at us to go with my husband at the stadium to see a football match, Bologna- Inter F.C.

We had a quick dinner with piadina bread and cold cuts plus a good cold beer as they had to run off the stadium: it’s not far from where we live but of course you have to find a parking lot then walk, then pass the check points…

They were on a rush to be there in time.

I was very happy to have a whole evening just for me, Lorenzo just started school after the summer break and was exhausted and soon ready for bed so I had totally free time to do something in the kitchen.

It’s something that donesn’t happen often.
