Holiday ideas: a foodie tour in Italy, Austria and Slovenia; fourth stop: Dürnstein, Austria.

Dürnstein

We are so near to our summer holidays and I am still writing about the past ones: will I ever be break even with the posts?

Luckly this post is quite short because the place I am speaking about is very little and we stopped here a night only but we loved it so much we keep on thinking about organizing a trip the two of us only.

This because Dürnstein desn’t have a lot for children, even if a cruise on the Danube always has charm on everyone and the ” blue tower” is something children and adults can be impressed of.

Today I have one of the worst case of migraine in months.

I took a painkiller and I am having a hot water boule squeezed between my neck and my head but nothing works.

I should lay in bed, I have tried but I feel more pain than staying sitted.

I decided to use wisely this time then, because in these days I have no time for blog at all: I work, work, work then I run home to make everything I didin’t do because of work.

Here we are for the third part of our tour: today we are visiting Altmünster, a very small town in Austria on the Traunsee, a touristic lake.

It’s the perfect place to hiking, to bike riding, to walking on lake shores; we stayed in a small pension called Berggasthof Urzn, it’s on a hilltop and from the room you can see the view of the photo above.

Isn’t it stunning?

We had a room with all the comforts; the room was entirely furnished with pine wood furniture and it smelled wonderfully.

My new project about posting foodie/ beery/ children holiday tour requests a lot of efforts and time from me.

It’s ok, I love this project plus in summer I don’t have the willing to cook a lot because I can’t stand hot weather ( I must be honest, at the moment we had a merciful weather, not that hot), anyway I really have to share these ricotta cheese and lemon soft cookies with you because they are so simply, light, tasty it would be a crime not to share.
